Clinic
Wednesday
Every other Wednesday Shona sees patients via home visit, or in Totnes, between 9am and 4:30pm.
Friday
Shona runs a small animal clinic in Totnes at the Ola Chiropractic centre between 9am-12noon and 5pm-7pm.
Other times for home visits may be available by individual appointment.
Referrals
A full referral service is offered with reports sent to each patient’s primary veterinary surgeon. Any recommendations regarding medication or further diagnostic work-up or treatment will be referred back to the primary veterinary surgeon.
Shona often works with ACPAT(A) registered animal physiotherapists as part of her comprehensive approach to pain and wound management, in order to achieve a maximal treatment benefit for her patients.
Payment
All appointments must be paid for via cash, cheque or BACS transfer at the time of treatment.
Insurance
Many insurance companies now cover acupuncture treatment, since in the UK it requires a suitably qualified veterinary surgeon. Please check your policy to determine your individual circumstance. Retrospective insurance claims will be processed as required. No direct insurance claims are currently possible.
If you have any questions, or wish to discuss a case with Shona, please be in touch using the contacts page.
